* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below action stage late this morning. - Action stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Shelby and Union.
* WHEN...From 4 PM EDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A complex of storms will develop later this afternoon and continue overnight. Repeated rounds of storms, combined with the extremely wet soil conditions will increase the risk for flash flooding later this evening into the overnight hours.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Scioto River at Columbus Frank Rd.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, While much of the city remains protected at this stage, flooding occurs along the river outside the City of Columbus. A stage of this level will cause flooding along the Scioto River in southern Franklin County, mainly in Franklin and Jackson townships, as well as areas near Haul Road in south Columbus. McKinley Avenue is closed at 24.2 feet due to floodgate closure. Route 23 High Street is flooded near I-270.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 22.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 24.2 feet late this morning. It will then fall below flood stage this afternoon. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
